Los fabricantes de Rock Band 2 dijeron que la secuela del popular juego será liberado para XBox en septiembre, comiéndole el mandado a su rival Guitar Hero; el chiste de ambos juegos es simular que estás en una banda de rock, tocando diversos instrumentos. Esta nueva versión tendrá más instrumentos, un nuevo soundtrack y una comunidad en línea, y lo mejor de todo compatibilidad hacia atrás con las descargas que hayas hecho para el primer Rock Band. Como mencioné antes, inicialmente estará disponible para XBox, pero lo estará para otras consolas hacia fin de año. Ya veremos como le va cuando se lance Guitar Hero: World Tour durante la época navidena, ya con un set de batería y micrófono, junto con la guitarra que ya tiene.

Esa que ven arriba es la nueva guitarra que se anunció para el juego: una Fender Stratocaster con todo y acabado sunburst. Me parece la guitarra más bonita (de esta clase claro) que he visto en este tipo de juegos…en cuanto a las listas de canciones, lo que ha habido es especulación, y varios sitios dicen conocer buena parte de dicha lista. Ahí tienen…podríamos pensar que alguien miente y que alguien dice la verdad, pero como hay coincidencias en ambas listas, quizás ambos tengan algo de razón…todos los detalles completos de Rock Band 2 se darán hasta el E3 que ya está pronto a celebrarse.
